SECOND MISTRESS

Ok, when I first thought of this idea was after a dinner table conversation over whether it was possible for one person to change the world economically and socially, and I don't mean Hitler style. It was an interesting concept that intrigued my mind as to wether I could come up with a solution that would work, albeit as usual it would only be people that would not allow it to happen out of whatever reason you can decide for yourself. I came up with an idea and created the method, but that's as far as it went. But I defy anyone to tell my why the method wouldn't work and for £20 I think it's worth a punt to potentially give everybody food, a roof over their head and power, but funnily enough everybody rejects it because... Is just too easy maybe, but all the best things are simple.

As far as making a million though, I thought that would be a good idea for a documentary, so with some experience of making corporate videos and marketing campaigns, I contacted a few production companies who liked the idea, but wanted a lot more development to take it further, as getting your head around the possibility of achieving a million is not easy, as we know it's a hard task .

Undaunted, I shelved the project to finish my books I had in mind ready for this year, and then to do that one most important thing  essential in all business, take action. So in November I finished FatMan to submit to someone who knows someone in Hollywood so keep your fingers crossed ,  The Rise of the Fatties. Heres the synopsis:

Set in a parallel universe, the world has exhausted it's natural resources, leaving humans as the producers of all power and food needs through their excretions. The ruling elite Fatist party have brain washed the population into believing that fat is sexy and made it law for people to become as big as possible, supported by criminal underworld gangs and corruption. Food is purely reconstituted human waste material with no nutrients other than chemical additives to increase waste production.

Through a sequence of un related events, a young fat boy is accidentally exposed to a chemical accelerant that increases his body density 1000 times. A chance meeting with the worlds most beautiful women leads him into a journey of love, fantasy and personal exploration, that finally culminates with the demise of the Fatist regime and his development as the superhero savour of the world.. FatMan

Whilst the humour is sometimes grotesque, slapstick, politically & religiously incorrect, sexual, rude and satirical, the ultimate message is one of power, hope and exaggerated stupidity that we see in everyday life. A must for anyone on a diet.

Nothing back yet, but who knows. Then came January the first, I was stuck between two mistresses, which actually isn't that bad. I wanted to do 1H1Y1M, but another FatMan had popped into my head that I just had to get out, as you do. So both I did. FatMan I started writing not as a short story/ script as the first, but a full novel. So here's the synopsis on that one:

Ten years on and FatMan is out of sorts with society, love and life. The world has turned from a super sized society, into worshiping diet, health and fitness, rendering FatMan ever more isolated from his wife, friends and family, losing sight of faith, and the true meaning of life.

Through an unexpected mission for the universal creator FatMan is plunged into a world of danger, temptation and sex, to fight a hidden evil that threatens to take over the world. His journey takes him, through a series of revealing close encounters with historical figures, forcing FatMan to reevaluate love, and his  ignorance to the true nature of those who mean most to him.

Fundamentally a dark comedy, the second book in the series moves the humour into a more adult form, whilst retaining the politically incorrect satirical nature of the first, the  story takes a surreal  look at the meaning of life, history, religion, love and relationships, twisting well known stereotypes into another alternative reality that is weirdly close to our own.
